This is dedicated to the cakes that are too beautiful to eat, but we want you to have both! We have combined our passion for art with our sweet cake skills and will soon be welcoming custom orders for real cakes and Duplicakes.

Saphire Maria Carter (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist currently working in Nashville, TN. Growing up in Montana lead her to a lifelong love and appreciation for nature. She is passionate about creating and recognizing the beauty in all living things. She strives to live mindfully and with compassion. Carter enjoys working with a number of mediums including acrylics, mixed media, clay, and cake. Since 2005, she has developed a specialized skill set as a custom cake designer and decorator. Her strengths include intricate buttercream piping, freehand reproduction, color matching, sculpting, fondant and modeling chocolate detail, airbrushing, and especially the artful process of custom wedding cake design and display. She was honored to be awarded a 2021 Best Of Nashville: Best Cake Decorator, and has provided many celebrated artists and musicians with her creative confections.
Jade Michel Sotelo Carter (she/her) is a versatile artist and cyborg based in Nashville, TN. Raised in a creative household in Montana, she draws inspiration from her family, nature, animals, and Indigenous Peoples. Carter works primarily with acrylics but often explores different mediums. She finds great joy in working with her hands and this has manifested in a breadth of abilities including screen printing, playing guitar, bartending, framing art, and most recently, cake decorating. Living with limited mobility and chronic pain has greatly shaped her experience, bringing daily reminders to focus on what is possible instead of what is not.
